Gaser Group

Our history

1945

Bruno Gasparini founds Fragas, specializing in precious metal treatments and laying the foundation for what will become a structured industrial enterprise.

1965

His son Sergio transforms Fragas into Gaser S.p.A., focusing on aluminum profile treatments and defining the company’s technical identity.

2007 - 2012

Gaser and Eredi di Bonacina Mario establish the concept of the Group; Gaser Bologna and Gaser San Giuliano are founded, strengthening the presence in nickel plating and anodizing.

2013 - 2016

Gaser Impianti is created to produce equipment in-house, and Gaser Technical Coating is launched, becoming the largest chemical nickel plating facility in Europe.

2017 - 2018

Eredi di Bonacina Mario opens a new facility with 4 automated lines and introduces the first zinc plating system based on artificial intelligence.

2019 - 2020

Seridall is acquired to meet growing demand for anodizing; Gaser Metacoat Pvt Ltd is established in India, becoming one of the most advanced anodizing facilities in Maharashtra.

2021 - 2022

Alfaossidazione and Pd Service join the Group, expanding the offering to include heat treatments and functional polymer coatings: non-stick, anti-wear, anti-corrosion, and high-temperature resistant.

2023

The acquisition of Zincover boosts zinc plating capacity with a new facility in the province of Brescia.

2024

The R&D hub at Kilometro Rosso is established, dedicated to research, testing, and prototyping of innovative treatments. Gaser Academy is launched with tailored technical and managerial training programs for internal staff, companies, and institutions.
