Organisational Model

Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 introduced the concept of corporate administrative liability for criminal offences. Under this regulation, companies can be held liable, and therefore subject to sanctions, for certain crimes committed in their interest or to their advantage by persons in senior positions or by those subject to their direction or supervision.

A company may be exempt from liability if, prior to the offence, it has adopted and effectively implemented an organisation, management and control model suitable for preventing crimes of the kind committed, has established a Supervisory Body tasked with monitoring the operation of and compliance with the model, has adopted a disciplinary system to sanction any breaches of the model, and has provided training to personnel on the contents of both the model and Legislative Decree 231/2001.

The companies within Gruppo Gaser began the process of adopting their own Organisation and Management Models pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 in 2022. Their commitment is to operate with transparency and legality, positioning themselves on the market as safe and reliable partners.
