Chemical nickel plating process with medium phosphorus content (5-9%) with high anti-wear performance and surface hardness.

The deposited electroless nickel has advantages in terms of thickness uniformity and surface hardness. Compared to other chemical nickel coatings, it allows a deposition speed that can meet even the most stringent production schedules.

CORROSION RESISTANCE

Chemical 71® is a chemical nickel coating with a higher corrosion resistance than electrolytic nickel plating and electrolytic zinc plating. It can be used even in severe corrosive environments at thicknesses of over 30 microns.

SURFACE HARDNESS

Chemical 71® is chosen because it has a hardness of 650-750 hv without additional heat treatment, i.e. an increase of about 200 hv more than HIPLATE LM40. Heat treatment at 350°-400° significantly increases the micro-hardness of the coating.
