The process of Carburizing and Hardening indicates a thermochemical treatment that aims at distributing carbon in the superficial layers of low carbon steels. Such process is followed by a tempering one and a distention restoration. The aim is that of obtaining a superficial hard layer and a strong core.

From 0,15 to 4,00 mm (class Cm2 – Cm40 – UNI 5381).
APPEARANCE
The artefact can be treated with sand to create a homogeneous effect if requested by the client. It is possible to remove any crusts or oily traces.
