Hard anodizing is a process that allows to create on aluminum components a layer of aluminum oxide with high resistance to corrosion and surface hardness. It has a dimensional growth of the oxide layer of 50% of the total thickness of the protective film.
The layer resists to all chemical solutions where the pH varies between 4 and 9.5. The resistance in neutral salt spary t exceeds 500-550 hours.
COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION
The friction coefficient is influenced by the state of the surface before treatment: the hardness of the oxide layer and its low porosity significantly decreases the dynamic friction coefficient of the product.
